How we use cookies & storage

DeliverDish uses your browser’s local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your session. This is strictly necessary for the app to function and cannot be switched off while you are using the Service. This policy is effective as of August 27, 2026.

Strictly necessary storage

We store an authentication session (so you stay logged in) and minimal app state such as your saved preferences. This is used only to operate the Service and is never shared for advertising.

Analytics and affiliate technologies

On our website we also use Google Analytics 4 and PostHog for usage analytics, and Impact.com for affiliate attribution when you follow a link to a retailer. These set their own cookies or browser identifiers and record which pages you view and which features you use; once you sign in, PostHog links that activity to your account. We do not run advertising on the Service and do not use these tools for advertising profiling. We never send your allergies, dietary restrictions, body metrics, saved plans, or shopping lists to them.

If you are in the EEA or the UK

We do not load Google Analytics, PostHog, or Impact.com for visitors we detect as being in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom. Those visitors get only the strictly necessary storage described above, which is why you will not see a cookie-consent banner. This detection uses your device’s time-zone setting; we do not look up your IP address to determine your location for this purpose, and where the setting is missing or unrecognized we leave analytics switched off. If the detection is wrong for you and you would like your analytics data deleted, contact privacy@trydeliverdish.com.

Third parties

Some integrations (such as Kroger, Walmart, and Google sign-in) may set their own cookies when you interact with their flows, governed by their respective policies.

Managing storage

You can clear this data anytime by signing out or clearing your browser storage. Doing so will sign you out of DeliverDish.
